Kedai Makanan Yut Kee (鎰記茶餐室)

I was in KL last weekend. We intended to try out Restoran Kudu Bin Abdul's nasi kandar because it was always the long queue every time we passed by the shop. But failed to reach there because of the road block at several areas in the city. Starved and we passed by Dang Wangi when we were trying to find our way to Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman. Saw the name of Yut Kee is quite familiar to me and there were many diners inside. We decided to have our lunch at Yut Kee. 

Based on the waiter's recommendation, we ordered roast pork and chicken chop. Food was served very fast. Two slices of Roast Pork at RM16 if not mistaken. The skin is very crispy and less fatty. Overall it was good but should have it with rice. If have it with spicy belacan sauce, it would taste perfect. 

Chicken Chop RM9.50. Deep fried chicken and served with onion, mixed vegetables and potato wedges gravy. The chicken is boneless and it tastes juicy with gravy. Compared chicken chop and roast pork, we rate chicken chop higher because roast pork is rather dry. 

Roast pork preparation is outside the shop.

The owner posted notices on the wall announcing their price increment due to increased price of materials. Price increase took its effectiveness on 01st March 2014, which is on our first visit to Yut Kee.
